Radical Software: Women, Art & Computing 1960–1991

The symposium “Radical Software: Women, Art & Computing 1960–1991” is organized by TU Wien Informatics, Kunsthalle Wien, and the Wolfgang Pauli Institute (WPI) as part of an exhibition examining the history of digital art through a feminist lens. Keynote speeches and panel discussions will underscore and delve into the pivotal roles women have played in advancing computer technology and digital art. The event is supported by: Austrian Science Fund (FWF), Let’s empower Austria (LeA), Semantic and Cryptographic Foundations of Security and Privacy by Compositional Design (SPyCoDe).
